What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. Is CBD legal?

Thanks to the passing of the 2018 Farm bill, hemp derived products such as CBD and any component derived of hemp is legal. These items are Federally legal to sell across the U.S. as long as the component THC tests below 0.3% Delta-9 THC. The 2018 Farm Bill defines hemp as “any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts and salts of isomers with no more than 0.3% concentration of delta-9”.
